Brian & Sarah | Provender House | Faversham
Brian & Sarah’s wedding was such a treat to photograph from start to finish. Not only were they getting married in historic Faversham during the ever popular Hop Festival, but the reception was held at Provender House, a 13th Century home owned by Princess Olga Romanoff, the daughter of Prince Andrew Romanoff, the eldest nephew of the Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Oliver Allen provided the fabulous catering in the marquee reception set up in the walled garden of Provender House. This incredible marquee was carefully and beautifully designed by Brian & Sarah with lots of help from family and friends. Sarah looked exquisite in her stunning lace dress and the most beautiful long veil I’ve seen. The flowers by Tiggy Johnson were simply gorgeous in design and rich in colour. Sarah arrived at the church in a very lush maroon Jaguar, quite a sexy alternative to the usual bridal car. Sarah has a love of horses, so when Brian surprised her with horse and carriage immediately after the ceremony, it was a special moment to capture on camera! This wedding was truly a delight to photograph with so many thoughtful details including the family tartan bunting, that stunning wedding cake, the retro sweet table (which cleared rather quickly – obviously!) and a superb live band, Smooth Sailors. A pleasure to be part of Brian and Sarah’s amazing day!
